T-minus Two Days

It's two days before we leave... and it's been a really stressful week so far! We had to set our moving day back one more day because the moving company was closed on New Years eve and day... it gave us a couple extra days to scramble and get things organized so it helped a little with the stress. On Wednesday morning we sat around waiting for the movers and after about 10:00 a.m. we decided to call and see when they were going to show up... It seems they were having some trouble getting a sea crate and were not going to come until about noon. They also said they had to take our sea shipment that day or it would miss the train and our stuff would not arrive for a month longer (Making it over 2 months)! This would have been fine if we had known before hand that they wanted to take the sea shipment that day... we planned on them taking the air and storage shipments and then coming back on Thursday for the sea shipment. So, by the time we talked with the moving company we had an hour to run through the house and get everything for the sea shipment organized and on our inventory sheet so that it would be insured. It wasn't an easy task, especially since the sea shipment had the most stuff in it, but we finished in the nick of time and got everything out!
